Quilt no 10

Cinnamon Star
I made a dresden plate from some christmas fabric, as this little quilt will probably go to its new home about Christmas time.  I machine appliqued it to a cinnamon coloured background (hence the name). Did some random straightline quilting, stitched cream stars on to the tone on tone holly fabric, and attached a red bead to each point. It has an envelope back to enable it to be displayed, and is embroidered with details of when and who made it.

This would make such a pretty candle mat at Christmas.

Who wouldn't love a bit of cinnamon! Love your little stars quilting and the beads. Little details make all the difference.
