Sadly, there are some quilts from this swap that don't yet seem to have reached their new homes. I am still hoping to hear that 5 quilts make it to their owners - one of these recipients lives in South America, and I've had other instances of slow post in South American countries, so I am hopeful that one will turn up, but the other missing ones, I'm more worried about. I know we had Christmas in there, but many of these pieces were mailed well before the Christmas rush. One of the 5 "missing" quilts, I admit I haven't heard from the recipient whether it was received or not, despite several emails, so perhaps it isn't missing. In one case, the maker has very kindly offered to make and resend a similar quilt (she has made or partly made several similar ones, so this isn't too demanding on her time to offer). In general, though, what do people think is the best option for making sure people end up with a quilt? Just soliciting some opinions here before I get down to the nitty gritty of actually sorting something out!
